About Me
My name is Angelia Abouhassan
A Journey of Healing Through Breath, Trauma-Informed Practices, and Yoga
My passion for breathwork was born from a profound personal journey of healing. After experiencing a life-altering stroke and trauma that left me with limited vision and mobility on one side of my body, I began searching for ways to restore my health and reclaim my life.
This search led me to a trauma-informed yoga class, where I discovered something extraordinary: as I focused on my breath amidst my physical limitations, my vision began to return. Breath became my anchor, my guide, and ultimately, my gateway to healing.
Breathwork became my ultimate life hack—a powerful tool to reset, restore, and reconnect. It fueled not only my physical recovery but also a deep curiosity to explore the science and ancient wisdom behind this transformative practice.
Professional Journey

2020: Began my professional path studying one-on-one with a somatic guide mentorship program.

Wellness After Stroke: Initiated weekly breathwork and meditation practices for an online community and the Stroke Buddies Group.

2023: Completed the YOGALAP Breathwork Certification Program.

2024 Created The Breath Lady Project, an online group educating and creating safe practice space.

2025 Completed Trauma Partitioner Certification through IAOTH

Trauma-Informed Approach: Committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for individuals navigating trauma and physical challenges.
Today, as a certified breathwork instructor, trauma practitioner, and Iyengar yoga teacher, my mission is to make breathwork and meditation accessible to all. I’m here to help people reconnect with their breath, reset their patterns, and ignite their healing journeys.
